Laurie Stockton has 20 years experience in Federal and State business litigation with concentrated emphasis on aviation law. Ms. Stockton has negotiated Pilot Teamster contracts in accordance with the Railway Labor Act on behalf of the airlines. Ms. Stockton has experience with the Aviation Whistle Blowers Legislation representing air carriers.
Ms. Stockton has assisted in the acquisition of numerous aircraft and due diligence analysis on aviation companies within the United States with heavy emphasis on maintenance and fuel sales. Her experience extends to handling Internal Revenue Cases involving Federal Excise Tax disputes in Washington, D.C. and cases involving the Federal Aviation Administration.
Ms. Stockton has assisted and written the Part 135 manual for on demand jet charter operations and has handled numerous situations involving the Federal Aviation Regulations of Part 91, Part 121, Part 125, Part 145 and Part 380 operations.
Ms. Stockton earned her undergraduate degree at Michigan State University and worked full time for GlaxoSmithKline pharmaceutical company receiving numerous training courses at the Medical College of Pennsylvania. While working full time as a pharmaceutical sales representative she attended law school nights at Thomas M. Cooley Law School.
